Meet Christy Warner-Metzger

Project Director

Dr. Warner-Metzger, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Evidence-based Practices and International Consulting (EPIC), LLC, where she leads large-scale training, consultation, and implementation efforts to expand access to evidence-based behavioral health services. She is one of only 21 PCIT International Certified Global Trainers worldwide and shares more than 20 years of experience partnering with provider systems to engage families in PCIT and other evidence-based practices.

Dr. Warner-Metzger has co-developed adaptations to PCIT and has served as a trainer and consultant for large dissemination initiatives across the United States and internationally. Her work integrates implementation science, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice to support sustainable system change.

As the PCIT COE Project Director, she is uniquely positioned to guide California’s expansion of high-quality PCIT services in collaboration with counties, provider agencies, and practitioners – all while bringing best practices to California’s children and families.
